The coupon holder is used to place the corrosion coupon on the line and it is designed and made to work with all types of corrosion coupons according to the place of installation in the line (top, middle or bottom of the line) and with the variable number of coupons. This type of coupon holders has a hole with a left thread to connect to a solid plug.
The material of the holder is stainless steel (AISI 316) and it can be produced according to the request for all kinds of access fittings. Coupon holders made by Mirab Sanat can also work with Cosasco and Rose coupons and equipment. Coupon holders of Mirab Sanat Inc. are made in the following 4 categories.
- Strip coupon holder (strip type): These types of holders are used to suspend 2, 3 or 6 inch strip coupons in the place of inspection. The coupon holder acts as the base of the primary holder and is connected to the solid plug by means of a left round screw. This type is designed to monitor three different places: top of line, middle of line, and bottom of line, and it can hold two coupons at any time.
- Disk type coupon holder: These types of coupons are more useful than other coupons. Because the disc coupon is placed in the tube in the same direction as the fluid flow and does not cause any disruption in the fluid flow. It simulates the pipe wall surfaces better and more accurately and does not cause any disturbance in the fluid flow. This type of holders can monitor three different places of pipe: top of line, middle of line, and bottom of line, and it has the ability to hold one disk coupon at any time.
- Ladder coupon holder (ladder type): This type has 6 ladder coupon placement locations ( 2 inches) and is used for pipes higher than 8 inches. This type of holder examines the top of the line, the middle of the line, and the bottom of the line at the same time. The coupon holder has a left round nut that connects it to the end of the solid plug and also serves as the main base holder.
- Multi disk coupon holder (multi disk type): This type has 3 disk coupon placement locations and is used for pipes above 6 inches. This type of holder examines the top of the line, the middle of the line, and the bottom of the line at the same time.
